HISTORY

The Sosiani Community Resource Center was started on 5th April 2000 as single project at Sosiani Area in Mombasa. The project was a brainchild of five (5) youth founders who were driven by a passion to get something meaningful to do so as to address the problems of poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, diseases and socio-economic and gender disparities.

The project has since grown to include various activities such as Community Computer Bureau, Community Preparatory School and a farming Concern.  At present, this humble project has remodeled to work towards establishing a Community Library and a Health Kiosk (Please Click Projects) where we appeal to all well-wishers to support the vision, whether through ideals, skills, materials or financial resources.
